Galactic Warriors is the debut album by a new duo from Croatia. This is classic spacesynth done in the old school way. Fans of the Laserdance style will definately find something interesting here.

Mastering by Dj Master
Artwork by Janusz Szymecki

"I like most songs that have already heard" - this quote from a classic polish comedy "Rejs" (The Cruise) perfectly describes my feelings about this album. Composers from Croatia ressurected classic LD style, sometimes even directly quoting MvdK's solutions. But fortunately it's not a blind mimicking. Not at all. It sounds more like some mysterious, never-released, digged out and re-recorded Laserdance album from glory days of "Future Generation". Krunoslav and Max done their synthdance history lesson in an impressive way. As mentioned above, we have here tons of MvdK 80's style, but also unexpected quote from italo-classic "Living on video" by Trans-X. You might say, there's nothing special in bringing back old, known from decades sounds and making them up in a similar way. Yes, you won't find there new solutions or horizons or whatever you call it; it's not Protonic Storm. But for what we love synthdance? For that unique mood and catchy melodies, which guys from Galactic Warriors brought back for pure enjoy. Thanks to them and thanks to Marek Kolodynski!

Iíd be interested in reading a review of this album. I absolutely love it and think that at times they even surpass Rochowski in getting ďthat soundĒ, to me itís like finding an unreleased LD album from the 80ís- pure bliss! Off-course Iíll be accused of bias by some hence it would be nice hearing what others think of this production particularily an in-depth review.
