Opened a new topic about new noteworthy Bandcamp releases, that are not necessarily spacesynth music (can be, of course, but if you find something noteworthy for the spacesynth community, you can share the info here).

Do you remember Reubino? Outerstella was released on 2012, and it instantly attracted the attention in spacesynth community.

Now, Reubino has a new album out, called "Panoramic Dreams". It is a nice album with mostly chill-out and ambientish feel to it, not that much spacesynth than "Outerstella" has. The album is very dreamy, I personally enjoy the album throughout and I'd like to recommend it to everyone who like such kind of music. Wink

Most importantly, even if it is not everyone's cup of tea, it is still well done album (and it is not that easy to find such good quality albums on Bandcamp IMO).

This one is not a release but maybe someone is interested to know that Bandcamp now offers an account for labels: https://bandcamp.com/labels

I anticipate that this service will take off quite well.

Well, label stuff was one of reasons that made me turn away from labels. Bandcamp gave artist possibility to sell music directly to consumer, so he didn't depend on label. Now Bandcamp becomes a platform for labels, so they can do this one evil thing they always do - collect money from sales. Well, I don't mind if someone feels ok with that, go on be a part of it, but I simply find odd that Bandcamp makes possible what they always stood against.

I've found a variety of good music on Bandcamp. So for example, here's some stuff that's based in chiptune music, although the artists don't restrict themselves to 4 channels or 8-bit sounds ("fakebit"?):

Labyrinth by Monomer: https://telefuturenow.bandcamp.com/album/labyrinth
Insomnia by Tiasu: http://tiasu.bandcamp.com/album/insomnia
The Glory Days by Big Giant Circles: http://music.biggiantcircles.com/album/the-glory-days
