I think that it would be interesting to see how the environment looks like where you get your inspiration to compose music. In these days many studios consist mostly of software, therefore feel free to show us a screenshot or something else that shows your musical tools.
I can start this thread by showing some new pictures of my environment which consist of one stationary studio and a portable one.
Music equipment:
Stationary studio
P4 2.4GHz, 1G RAM, Pulsar 2 soundcard
Yamaha EX5
Portable Studio
P M760 2.0GHz, 1G RAM
Novation X-Station 25
Software: CubaseSX, Synth1, SuperwaveP8, Atmosphere, LoopaZoid.
I made the pictures as clickable thumbnails so that the thread could load faster. You can find information about how to do that at the following link: BBCode |

Yeah, it's always interesting to see other musicians' studios. Mine is very simple. Yup, no hardware synths. I'm monitoring with Event 20/20 bas V2 and my PC is AMD Athlon 64 3700+.
Oops, should have put smaller pictures... |

Staffan, where did you get that office chair of yours, from IKEA? I have noticed that it's very important to have a comfortable chair when doing long sessions. Mine isn't very good, so I'm planning to get a new one, so just asking.. |

| The chair is made by KAB-Seating and I'm very satisfied with it. If you check out their website www.kabseating.com you can find their products and their distributors in your country. Here is the directlink to their officechairs: link |

Cool leds. I need to take some led pics too.. it was day when I took the previous pics and not possible to dim the room enough then. Mike probably has some pic of leds here though..?
Not really best possible picture Mike Horn (The Digital Jupiter) in the pic:

My studio consists of FL-studio 6. It includes also the synth Sytrus, which I use to most sounds. I have an Edirol PCR-M50 keyboard. A PC Dell Dimension 5000, 2.8 GHz. I use my hifi-system and headphones for monitoring. It consists of Monitor Audio speakers, Arcam A65 amplifier, AKG k501 headphones. The speakers are placed quite nearfield. I don't own a digital-camera, so I can't give any pictures of my setup. But here's a screenshot.
