Hello Everyone,
First of all on behalf of Space Sound Records I would send our greetings to all you Space Synth fans out there as well as members of this forum.
Recently there are a lot of things happening at Space Sound Records and we wanted to enlighten you of our plans in the near future. At the moment we are working on the maxi-single – Space Project “The Return of Space Raiders” The single will be remixed by Marco Rochowski, Anders Lundqvist, Mindxpander, Staffan Ohman, Dreamtime, Samurai and Galaxy Hunter. I have to say that the maxi is looking to be a real revelation and we can’t wait till its gets ready for sale.
The next album that we are working on is ''The Best Of Space Sound'' which will feature some of the big names in Space Synth. In other big news our label plans to release a record ''Synthesizer Tribute To Depeche Mode'' We want to create an album with remixes for this fabulous group which I’m sure you’ve all heard of. I have to add that the idea for this was met with great enthusiasm amongst the artists, those that we invited to participate were very eager to take part in a spacesynth remix. The line up of artists contributing to the remix is also very impressive! Those taking part in this venture are the same as for The Return of Space Raiders but we also have a few additions in Krzysztof Radomski (Protonic Storm), Vocoderion as well as NS2 (a young but very talented artist from Romania). We also want release a debut album from a new spacesynth artist from Poland – Starlight. His style can be described as “soft space” reminiscent of Syntech in a way.
In other news Space Project will release their second album - New Dimension. In the second half of 2008 we hope to release a record featuring hits of the 80’s ala Radio Ga Ga, New Song, One Night in Bangkok, It's A Sin, In The Night, Maid Of Orleans etc further down the track we will probably pursue hits of Italo as well as Euro dance. So as you can see we have a few surprises up our sleeves, and we hope that 2008 will be great will lots of fabulous music from our side.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the artists who have sent in their demos and still welcome others to do the same. We listen to all demos and we reply to all e-mails
Once again warm greetings to all of you from the team at Space Sound Records

Great news, indeed! That's quite a number of things you have cooking there in your studio.

Hello,
I have not yet had the opportunity to congratulate to Space Sound Records. I am really pleased that we have a new competing label within the genre, especially that there are nice, friendly and honourable people behind this new venture.
Alpha Centauri wishes to maintain friendly relations with Space Sound Records and I know that this feeling is mutual. Both labels will of course become competitors when it comes to publishing music, but we are also together searching for some sort of cooperative spirit, in example when it comes to distribution of both labels future releases.
Some of our artists were mentioned in the news. I would like to say that this it is absolutely normal that artists change labels and we are OK with that, as long as their departure was done by the book. I am pleased to say that it was. Some of our artists were also allowed to do side projects for Space Sound Records, because I do not like to act the way we all know so well from the behaviour of other label owner.
Anyway, I wish you guys all the best and... let's compete!
Cheers,
Mac Repetowski

Who's Galaxy Hunter? |
Galaxy Hunter is the pseudonym for Zbigniew Danieleczwicz a very talented Polish musician who comes from the Dance Music scene. Thanks to Space Projects (Mark K) convincing, he has decided to leave the Dark Side and join the Space side.
Zbigniew also collaborates with Monika Nowak which you may have heard on Space Project’s Starfighter track, she does the vocal there. Both Zbigniew and Monika have collaborated on a Dance album which is very interesting and contains many great tunes. We can assure you that there will be a few surprises with their most recent collaboration on the two Depeche Mode Remixes “Black Celebration” and “Behind The Wheel”. Furthermore, soon you’ll be able to hear their new track “Children Of Planet Earth” |
