overall, Loomer seems to be a company who "get" what kind of things people want from their synths and effects... full cross platform (mac, win, linux). They also have a nice line in more "experimental" effects (sequent & resound notably). The fact they cater for multi-platform without giving up features and have a price bracket that doesn't make you "resent" the lack of a physical presence an added bonus....

most commercial VST synth nowadays is trying to eat CPU more than improve algorithm for better sound quality
more CPU power doesn't make better sound quality...
i think the developer,sound engineer should think wiser...
chance to make highest sound quality but low CPU usage demand is totally possible..come on!

my best choices are Superwave,Sylenth1,synth1..
i dislike heavy-load VST like Massive,Diva...

ditched vsti into space and got back working with my analogue equipment only thing computer does now is sample playback / sequence / fx processing

anyone use Nexus for producting spacesynth?
i heard that VST got alots of hate,don't know why so many people hate it? it's just a rompler,so it's definitely a big box contains alots of sample presets Smile,it can't do much!

at least it has some pretty nice orchestra,piano presets... Very Happy

michel van derr kuy uses it , i binned it , nexus is over many things lol you will find out sooner or later Cool

now where's that Juno Bass? In Jupiter , always! Very Happy <3

oberheim ... they all the same to me only name changes lol only vst effect for me my friend , rest i own physical synthesizers.
