This is not fiction, but I thougt this topic fits here. As you might know NASA launched Disccovery space shuttle last night (European time). Seems like everything is OK so far. The shuttle is going to arrive to International Space Station tomorrow.

Here's a video of the launch:

Anyone else dreaming about seeing a shuttle launch someday?

Yes Very Happy But this is not the last shuttle launch. AFAIK, this year two final missions for Endeavor (in April) and Atlantis (in June) are planned. Those will be the last in the Space Shuttle Program as a whole, since the first launch in 1981.

Hope Discovery will be successful in his last mission Smile

Sure, it would be interesting. I'd rather like to watch the launch than fly to space myself (I even hate to be in flying aeroplane, so...). Very Happy
