I just have to recommend a new podcast, in Swedish though, called "Bitar till kaffet" (translated: Bits alongside the coffee). The show plays game and demo scene music, particularly chip and 8 bit stuff. When you hear these early demoes it's easy find the reminiscent to Laserdance and Koto. The 16th basslines, the fantastic chord changes and well-programmed melodies.
There are 6 episodes so far so you'll be catching up quick.
