Hm, maybe there's too little synth-nerds here. If you don't post something as easy as Korg M1's "Universe" this game is too hard for most of us. I don't find it very interesting to browse samples in the net just to quess a synth here. |

Ok, that was quite helpful. It must be the PPG Wave 2! Yeah.. |

Browsing isnt the idea, I agree.
This synth is famous but I guess not really in the spacesynth world.. It's blue. And I love it. _________________ faroutmusic.net | soundcloud.com/dreamtime-music |

Hehe, believe me, at first I thought it sounded quite much like the Waldorf PPG Wave 2.V -VSTi, but then I thought you wouldn't sample a softsynth for this quiz. Didn't realize it could be the real thing. I assumed it was one of your own synths.
Well, I'll try to pick a good synth-sample later. |

I realized that it is always going to be either too easy or too hard... Anyway, here it is:

Ugh.. Maybe it would make more sense if we gave only descriptions of synths? Like this (not the synth in the sample):
- 8-polyphony
- was one of the first to have a patch memory storage
What do you think? |

Yes, why not a sample AND a description. But giving only a description would be allowed too? Not many synths have an unique trademark sound after all.
Sure it is the DX7.

Ah, now I see. Yeah why not? Maybe that could get more people participating.
