I have the same kind of analog synthesis in my Yamaha EX5 although the EX5 don't offer the same polyphony. I have tried to use it for some fast LD-bassline but not succeeded yet. It can give some really good leadsounds though.

Well you got EX5 I recall? It has the same engine afaik, so basically you got AN1x.

Yes, that's correct, but the polyphony in the EX5 is not as good as in the AN1x. As the knobs on the two synths are different and some other small things, it is not possible to import the AN1x-voices directly into the EX5. A person at the EX5tech-forum made a nice java-program that converts the AN1x-voices to the EX5, so now I have 94 banks with AN1x-sounds. Great.

MV, what kind of sounds are you using your AN1x for ? (bass, chords, synclead, ....)
